Freedom is an album by Neil Young, released in 1989 (see 1989 in music).
The album contains one of Young's most important songs -- "Rockin' in The Free World". The lyrics became anthems for two historic events of 1989: 1) student protests in China's Tiananmen Square and 2) the fall of the Berlin Wall .
The song "Rockin' in The Free World" was also used over the final credits of Michael Moore's film Fahrenheit 9/11.
