Fontainebleau

Paris, France.

The city is a sous-préfecture of the Seine-et-Marne département.

It is a popular tourist spot on account of at least the following:

• The Royal Chateau Fontainebleau, where the Renaissance was introduced to France from 1528 onwards.
• The beautiful Fontainebleau forest a royal hunting park often visited by walkers, horse riders, and climbers.
• The graves of G. I. Gurdjieff and Katherine Mansfield in the cemetery at Avon.

The European (and historical) campus of INSEAD business school is located in Fontainebleau.
