FNLA

FNLA was (founded 1957). It is an acronym for the portuguese Frente Nacional de Libertação de Angola (The National Front for the Liberation of Angola)

It is one of 3 liberation organisations which fought for control of Angola. The other two being MPLA and UNITA

UNITA was formed in March 1966, when Jonas Savimbi broke with the FNLA to form his own group.

They draw (drew?) their support from north western Angola.
