The flycatcher-thrushes are medium-sized insectivorous birds in the genus Neocossyphus of the thrush family Turdidae. Two species are commonly called "ant-thrushes"; these must not be confused with the antthrushes of the suboscine family Formicariidae which are quite unrelated birds.

These are African forest dwelling species:

Rufous Flycatcher-thrush, Neocossyphus fraseri
Finsch's Flycatcher-thrush, Neocossyphus finschii
Red-tailed Ant-thrush, Neocossyphus rufus
White-tailed Ant-thrush, Neocossyphus poensis

The two ant-thrushes should not be confused with the unrelated South American antthrushes in the family Formicariidae.
