Flushing Meadow-Corona Park is a large public park in the New York City borough of Queens. It was the site of the 1939-1940 and 1964-1965 World's Fairs. A large metallic globe, called the "Unisphere", the symbol of the latter fair (the symbol of the first fair was called the "Perisphere") remains on the site as a reminder of these events.
