Flotsam and jetsam
Flotsam and Jetsam is a thrash metal band formed in Phoenix, Arizona in 1983. Initial lineup were: Eric A.K. - vocals, Michael Gilbert - guitar, Ed Carlson - guitar, Jason Newsted - bass, and Kelly David-Smith on the drums. In 1986 Jason Newsted was recruited by Metallica, and was replaced by Troy Gregory. In 1990 Gregory left for Prong, and was replaced by Jason Ward. In 1999 Micheal Gilbert and Kelly David-Smith left the band. Their places were filled with the guitar player Mark Simpson, and Craig Neilsen on the drums.
