Finian's Rainbow is a musical by Burton Lane and lyrics by E.Y. Harburg, telling the story of an Irishman who helps a needy farmer with the aid of a crock of gold he has found.
Although a major Broadway success, the musical has not retained its popularity. A 1968 film version starred Fred Astaire as McLonergan, Petula Clark as his daughter, Sharon, and Tommy Steele as Og, a lonely leprechaun.
Well-known songs from the musical include "Old Devil Moon" and "How Are Things in Glocca Morra?"
