- Final Fantasy 2 is the American number for "Final Fantasy 4." This game stars Cecil, the dark knight. This game has gone through countless revisions. When released in America, the game was toned down to make it easier, thus creating a 'hardtype' and 'easytype.' It has also been re-released and re-translated countless times on the Playstation and other systems. It has had some fan-translations on the ROM on the internet as well.
