The Filson Club is an historical society in Louisville, Kentucky. The society maintains an extensive library on local genealogy, as well as a small museum of local history. One intriguing possession of the museum is a section of American beech tree trunk, with the carved legend "D. Boone kilt a bar."
The Filson Club moved in the 1990s to its current quarters on Third Street in Old Louisville.
