The Ferrari Dino is a mid-engine sports car model by Ferrari manufactured 1966 -1973 that used some Fiat mechanical componenents and marketed as an independent brand. The name commemorates the nickname of Enzo Ferrari's son who died in 1956. A front engine version was marketed by Fiat as the Fiat Dino. The body of the earlier version was designed by Pininfarina, while Bertone created the bodies of later versions.
