Faraday's law for electrolysis invented by Michael Faraday 1834:

n = m/M = I·t / (z·F)
n = amount of substance / mol
m = mass / g
M = molecular weight / (g/mol)
z = number of "excess" electrons
I = current / A
t = time / s
F = Faradayn constant (96500 C/mol)
