FAO Schwarz is the name of a toy store chain founded by the person of the same name in New York, New York.

The New York City store on Fifth Avenue is still very popular, and one of the most famous buildings in New York City. FAO Schwarz filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection on December 2, 2003, the second time that year.
