Erraid is an island in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland, lying west of Mull (to which it is linked by a beach at low tide) and south east of Iona.
The island was the birthplace of Robert Lewis Stephenson. His father ran a granite quarry on the island, while Robert set part of his novel Kidnapped there. It is home to a disused signal station for the lighthouse on Dhu Heartach. The island is privately owned an inhabited for most of the year by a small number of members of the Findhorn Foundation.
