1572-1617) was the 107th imperial ruler of Japan. A gift from Toyotomi Hideyoshi to Go-Yozei brought movable copper type (for printing) to Japan. His brother was the scholar Prince Katsura-no-miya Toshihito. Go-Yozei is regarded as the father of the Toyotomi family. He reigned from 1586 to 1611.
