Emperor Go-Horikawa (後堀河天皇) (1212-1234) was the 86th imperial ruler of Japan. He ruled from 1221 to 1232. He was a cousin of the previous emperor, Chukyo, who had been deposed by the Kamakura shogun after the Jokyu incident, an unsuccessful rebellion led by a former emperor.
