Elephant (2003) is the fourth album released by Detroit rock duo, The White Stripes. The album went platinum in the US and reached #6 on the Billboard Album Charts. The album won Grammys for best alternative album and best rock song ("Seven Nation Army"). The album also had two singles chart. The first, "Seven Nation Army", reached the top 20 on the Billboad Mainstream Rock Charts, but reached #1 on the Billboard Modern Rock Charts , giving the White Stripes their first #1 on an American chart; the second, "The Hardest Button to Button", reached # 9 on the Billboard Modern Rock Charts.

    Single in UK and US, although I have yet to find the single on vinyl in the US. Music video for HBTB directed by Michel Gondry and called "Our best yet," by Jack White.

    Featuring the voice of Mort Crim saying the beginning dialogue; The song was written about the dialogue, although Jack did not seek out the recording of Mort Crim, it was brought to him by his brother.

  13. "Girl, You Have No Faith in Medicine"
  14. "It's True That We Love One Another"
    Three vocal parts on this track: Jack, Meg, and Holly Golightly of the British band "Holly Golightly and Thee Headcoatees".
