Princess Eleanor of England (October 13, 1161 - October 31, 1214), was also known as Leonora of Aquitaine and Leonora, Queen of Castile.
She was born in Domfront Castle, Normandy. She was the seventh child and second daughter of King Henry II of England and his wife Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine. When she was eight years old, in 1170, she was married to King Alfonso VIII of Castile.
They had 12 children:
She died only twenty-eight days after her husband, in Burgos.
