East Azarbaijan (Persian: آذربایجان شرقی, Āzarbāyjān-e ?arqi) is one of the 28 provinces of Iran. It is in the north-west of the country, bordering Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the provinces of Ardabil, West Azarbaijan, and Zanjan. Its center is Tabriz.
