Duan Qirui



         


Tuan Ch'i-jui (段祺瑞 Pinyin: Duàn Qíruì) (1864- November 2, 1936) was a commander in the Beiyang Army and was the president of the Republic of China (in Beijing) from November 24, 1924 to April 20, 1926.

Born in Hefei as Tuan Ch'i-jui (段啟瑞), his courtesy name was Zhiquan (芝泉). He died in Shanghai.
