Douglas MacArthur II, the nephew of Gen. Douglas MacArthur, was an American diplomat.
MacArthur worked with the French Resistance during World War II and was held as a prisoner of war for two years. He served as U.S. ambassador to Japan, Iran, Austria, and Belgium.
