Throughout her career, DeLory has been a singer, dancer, and a backing vocalist. She is the daughter of Beach Boys musican Al DeLory. On screen, she appeared in the movie "Truth Or Dare".

The bulk of Donna DeLory's work has been as a backing vocalist and tour dancer with Niki Haris for Madonna. The pair first met through producer Patrick Leonard who thought that thier voices went well together. It was DeLory who sang the original demo for the song "Follow Your Heart" which later became the Madonna (singer) number one single titled "Open Your Heart".

Since 1987 DeLory has appeared on almost every Madonna album and has been a part of every Madonna world tour including the most recent 2004 Re-Invention Tour.

DeLory has also recorded solo albums of her own and has charted several singles on the Billboard Club Play Chart. Of note was her 1993 single for MCA Records called "Just A Dream" written and produced by Madonna and Patrick Leonard. Madonna also appeared as a guest backing vocalist on this track. Her original demo remains just one of many Unreleased Madonna Songs.

Her most recent solo album from 2004 is called "The Lover And Beloved". Early credits include work with Belinda Carlisle among others.
