Donkey Kong Country 3
Donkey Kong Country 3, known as Super Donkey Kong 3 in Japan, is the third and final installment in the Donkey Kong Country series. It was released in 1996 for the Super Nintendo and Super Famicom.
In this game Dixie Kong and her kid brother Kiddy Kong have to save Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong from K. Rool (Called Baron K. Roolenstein in this game). Unlike the other two, which had general pirate themes, this game has more of a sci-fi theme, and features robot and cyborg characters as some of the main villians. In fact, the game's final boss battles take place first in K. Rool's laboratory and second in his submarine, called the Nautilus (after the original Nautilus).
The game also features more RPG-like elements than the previous two titles, such as talking to characters, buying things, and collecting treasures.
Other characters include Cranky Kong, Wrinkly Kong, Funky Kong, and Swanky Kong. The music was composed by Koji Kondo.
