Donets (Донец), is a tributary of Don River, Russia. It originates in Central Russia, flows South-East through Ukraine and then Russia again to join Don. Total length is 650 mi (1,050 km).
It is a significant transportation artery to service Donets Basin -- an area of coal mining and heavy industry.
