Domalde



         


Domalde of the House of Ynglings, according to Heimskringla. He was the son of Visbur.

His rule was marked by bad crops and starvation. At Uppsala, the Swedes sacrificed frequently to Freyr and the other gods, but to no avail. Finally the Swedes had to revert to human sacrifices.

The chiefs assembled during the third year and they decided that they had to sacrifice the king.
