The Dodge Dart was a lower-priced model of the Dodge division of Chrysler Corporation from the late 50s to the mid-70's. The first Darts were plainer versions of Dodge's standard-sized cars, but beginning in 1963 the name was applied to a twin of the compact Plymouth Valiant. Both models became very successful, not only in the U.S. but in several markets abroad.
The Dart was available with a range of engines, from the workhorse Chrysler Slant 6 engine to the big-block 383 B engine.
