Denbigh (Welsh: Dinbych) is the former county town of Denbighshire, Wales. The town lies on the River Clwyd and grew around the glove-making industry.
Notable buildings in Denbigh include Denbigh Castle, the town walls begun in 1282 including the Burgess Gate, and Leicester's Folly, an unfinished church begun in 1579. Other attractions in the town include a museum, while famous people associated with Denbigh include the cartographer Humphrey Lloyd, the playwright Tom o'r Nant, the poet Rhoda Broughton, and the journalist and explorer Henry Morton Stanley.
