Death on the Nile is an Agatha Christie novel featuring the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. The action takes place in Egypt.
In 1978 it was made into a successful film starring Peter Ustinov as Poirot, alongside Bette Davis, Maggie Smith, Mia Farrow and Angela Lansbury.
In 2004 ITV made a UK TV movie starring David Suchet as Poirot alongside David Soul.
