David Gest (born 1953) is an American event and concert producer who married Liza Minnelli on March 16, 2002. Sixteen months later they separated and in October 2003, he sued her for $10 million, accusing her of being abusive to him in their marriage. Then on February 19, 2004, he announced his engagement to Motown legend Diana Ross.
