Cray, Inc. is a U.S. company located in Seattle, Washington, developing and manufacturing supercomputers. The company was formed by the March 2000 merger of Tera Computer and Cray Research.

As of 2004, the main product of Cray, Inc. is the Cray X1 combined architecture vector and MPP supercomputer. In May 2004 the company was announced to be one partner in the U.S. Dept.of Energy's fastest-computer-in-the-world project to build a 50 teraflops machine for the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

The company also plans a range of supercomputers using commodity processors running GNU/Linux and based on the Red Storm system they are building for Sandia National Laboratories, using AMD Opteron CPUs clustered in 96-processor cabinets, with a theoretical maximum of 300 cabinets in a machine. The design speed is 41.5 teraflops.
