Craterus

Craterus was one of the Diadochi, a Macedonian general under Alexander the Great. Following Alexander's death, he took an army back to Macedon and aided Antipater in his defeat of the Greek rebels in the Lamian War. Later, as the post-Alexandrine settlement began to dissolve, he opposed Perdiccas and Eumenes, and was ultimately killed in battle with the latter in Asia Minor in 321 BC.
