Craggy Island
Craggy Island is a fictional island off the west coast of Ireland and is used as the principal external setting for Father Ted in the television series of the same name.
(The actual parochial house used in the series is on the mainland in County Clare, near Lisdoonvarna.)
This is how Craggy Island is described in the DVD Package :
"Craggy Island is a God-forsaken hellhole with only a North, South and East side (the West side of the island broke off in a storm). The island is populated by many eccentrics and its only place of interest is The Holy Stone of Clonrichert, which is basically a small rock on a pedestal."
