Country Grammar is the debut album from rap artist Nelly. It was released on June 27, 2000 (see 2000 in music). Rap is an ever changing genre, and Country Grammar is no exception. This style of rap included in this album is called midwest rap.

The first single released was the song "Country Grammar." This song represents St. Louis where the star is from (the first line of the song is "You can find me in St. Louis rollin on dubs"). The second single was the song "E.I."

This song is a vague reminder of what women are like to Nelly, basically in this song Nelly is thinking about women he has been with or want to be with.
