Counter Strike Source

Counter-Strike: Source (CS:S) is the latest incarnation of the multiplayer first-person shooter Counter-Strike. As the name implies, the game is based on Valve Software's Source engine instead of on the original Half-Life.

As of September 2004, CS:S has yet to be released to the public. The only legal way to play CS:S is to be part of the beta test, visiting an Internet cafe participating in Valve's Internet cafe program, or by buying Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, which entitles users to download the game using Valve's Steam software.

Some features new to CS:S include improved physics, three-dimensional skyboxes, better graphics and other small tweaks (such as players dropping grenades when they die). The gameplay is mostly untouched from Counter-Strike 1.6.
