Commando (movie)

Commando is a 1985 Hollywood action movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and directed by Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow.

The plot concerns an elite retired commando whose daughter was kidnapped as a hostage to make him perform a political assassination against a dictator he deposed. Instead, he escapes in transit and sets out to rescue his daughter within the 12 hour time frame allotted before his daughter is killed.

This film is notable for being the first regular action film starring Schwarzenegger that featured his distinctive sense of humour.
