College Board
The College Board is an examination board. It is responsible (among other things) for managing the SAT, a test widely used for admission to universities in the United States. In addition, the College Board supervises what are known as high school are given a chance to take advanced course, and are tested at the end of the year; if their scores are high enough, many colleges will give out college credit, enabling the students to graduate quicker and/or skip over introductory classes. The Board's headquarters are in New York City.
