Cloyster

Cloyster is an archaic spelling of "Cloister." Throughout the Renaissance, "cloyster" was a common spelling. In recent years, it has become fashionable in commerce for businesses wishing to add a patina of antiquity (and to secure trademarks) to adopt the anachronistic "cloyster" spelling.

Cloyster is also a character in the Pokemon animated series and card game. The name is a portmanteau of "clam" and "oyster." This is a very popular character among the Pokemon players.
