Circular Quay railway station, Sydney

Circular Quay railway station is located in Sydney, Australia. It serves the Circular Quay area on the harbour. It is the closest station to the ferry terminals there which operate to a number of locations around the harbour. It serves the East Hills, South, Bankstown and Inner West lines. The station is manned from first to last train, and is fully accessible to wheelchairs. The station is also the terminus for a number of bus services.

It is the only station in the City Circle to not contain any underground platforms, as it as an elevated station located underneath the Cahill Expressway, which gives access to the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It has been proposed in the past to move the station underground, but this has not occurred as yet. As it was constructed in 1956, it is the newest station on the Circle.

The accesses to the station provide spectacular views of Sydney Harbour and the Sydney Opera House, particularly from the stretch of track after trains exit the underground.
