Church bell

A church bell is a bell which is rung in church either to signify the time of the hour or the time for worshippers to go to church, or the time to attend a wedding or funeral. Early bells were usually so big and bulky that each one would take two people to pull the ropes of the bell to make it ring. Modern church bells are automatic and electronically timed to chime.
