Church's Chicken
Church's Chicken is a U.S. chain of fast food restaurants specializing in fried chicken founded by George W. Church, Sr. It is well-known for serving chicken with a side of hot peppers. Church's openly admits concentrating on areas with high proportions of African Americans in the population, stating that research shows that they are indeed the most avid consumers of fried chicken and it is not merely a case of ethnic stereotyping. In some areas it is co-franchised with the White Castle hamburger chain. Church's is now owned by AFC Enterprises, along with Popeye's Chicken & Biscuits and Cinnabon.
