Chris Sawyer is a computer game developer who is best-known for designing and developing Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 and 2. His other major works include Transport Tycoon, and he also had a hand in Elite Plus for the IBM PC. Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 is currently being developed along with Frontier Developments, and is to be released in time for Christmas 2004.
Sawyer's primary focus is on a new game called Locomotion which he calls "the spiritual successor to Transport Tycoon."
