Chinhai- Originating from the English words,"chin", for the anterior region of the jaw, and "hay", the dry grass used to feed those of the equine genus, Chinhai is modern Chinese-American slang for hair growth on the anterior region of the jaw, particulary one which is excessively bushy or rough. Often called a "goatee" or "soul patch", this variety of facial hair is becoming more popular with youths, particularly those that are unable to grow hair elsewhere of their face.
