The Chevrolet Celebrity was a mid-sized car. The Chevrolet Celebrity was introduced in 1982. All Celebrities were built in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Production of the Coupe ended on July 22, 1988, the Sedan ended on August 25, 1989 and the Wagon ended on February 23, 1990.
The Chevrolet Celebrity is based on the A-Body platform shared with the Pontiac 6000, Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera and Buick Century.
It was replaced with the Chevrolet Lumina in 1990.
