Charles Marstiller Vest (Chuck) (born 1941) is a U.S. educator and engineer. He has served as President of MIT since 1990 and will retire in December, 2004. He will be succeeded as President by Susan Hockfield. On February 6, 2004, he was appointed to the Iraq Intelligence Commission by President George W. Bush.
