Charles G. Koch (1935-) is chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Koch Industries, Inc., one of the largest privately held companies in America.
During his time as CEO Koch industries expanded its business acquiring INVISTA textilles and some of the smaller businesses of DuPont.
Much of Charles's academic life was spent at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In 1957 Charles received a bachelor's degree in general engineering. He also received a master's degree in mechanical engineering in 1958 and a masters degree in chemical engineering in 1959.
Charles was born November 1, 1935 in Wichita, Kansas. Charles and his wife, Liz, have two children, Elizabeth and Chase.
