Chaka Fattah

Chaka Fattah (born November 21, 1956) has been a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives since 1994.

Born in Philadelphia, he attended Overbrook High School and received an A.A. from Philadelphia Community College in 1976 and M.A. from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School in 1986. He was a Representative in the Pennsylvania General Assembly from 1983-88 and a Senator from 1983-94.
