The Centre Party (Centerpartiet or C)is a political party in Sweden. The party maintains close ties to rural Sweden. The ideology is sometimes called agrarian, but the Center Party can perhaps be characterized as social liberal with concern about agricultural and environmental questions. A typical concern has been the elimination of nuclear power and decentralization of governmental authority.
