Casablanca Records



         


Casablanca Records is started by Neil Bogart in 1973 after leaving Buddah Records. It hit the chart with Donna Summer, Kiss and Parliament. Polygram Records acquired a 50% stake in 1977. Afterwards Polygram bought the other half for $15 million. Afterwards the label had hits with Lipps Inc and Irene Cara.
