Caril Ann Fugate was born in 1944 and stayed with Charles 'Charley' Starkweather after he had shot her parents and strangled her two-year old sister. They then embarked on a 7-day journey through Nebraska and Wyoming, while Starkweather stabbed seven people to death. She was convicted to life in prison in 1959, but was paroled in 1977.
