Cardiff City Football Club are a football team based in the Welsh city of Cardiff. Their stadium is named Ninian Park. They currently play in the Football League Championship and are managed by Lennie Lawrence.
They are one of a handful of Welsh sides to play in the English football league, and not in the League of Wales, and are the highest Welsh side in the English football pyramid.
