Cal Tjader (July 16, 1925-May 5, 1982) was a United States Latin jazz musician, with his primary instrument the Vibraphone. Recordings of his included Warm Wave (with Claus Ogerman), Latino (with Mongo Santamaria), and El Sonido Nuevo (with Eddie Palmieri).
